Compliance Solution

The JumpForward Compliance Toolbox provides state-of-the-art technologies that centralize the entire recruiting, reporting and compliance function for athletic departments. These technologies give the department the power to automatically track all prospect communications (phone, text, email), automatically generate compliance reports, and easily view all of the information that the coaches enter into the program (CARA logs, official/unofficial visits, contacts/evals, etc). This ensures adequate monitoring of the process and complete transparency for the athletic department. JumpForward’s proactive Compliance Solutions are designed and audited by experts with over 100 years of combined NCAA Compliance experience.

Compliance Dashboard

The JumpForward Compliance Dashboard allows compliance offices the ability to monitor all communications (phone, email, text) in one platform. The Dashboard flags and isolates potential violations into separate reports and allows only the compliance office to make changes or final determinations. Additionally, the Dashboard provides reports for login/logout activity and will alert the compliance office whenever potential violations have occurred.

Student-Athlete Management

The Compliance Toolbox provides compliance departments a full range of features for managing their current student-athletes. This tool allows you to see a full view of the student-athlete’s profile, details about their financial aid and eligibility, and even run reports based on past and current statuses. In addition, the student-athletes are able to access the system to complete required forms, review practice logs submitted by the coaches, and to input/select guests for Complimentary Admissions to their contests.

Eligibility Tracking

The JumpForward Compliance Toolbox allows a compliance department to track the eligibility of student-athletes in real-time. This tool allows a compliance department to customize and monitor progress-toward degree, fulfillment of credit hours, and minimum GPA rules for each student-athlete. The Toolbox also allows for data to be transferred in real time or in nightly batch files from the institution’s information systems. Using this data, the Toolbox can assist in determining the eligibility of the student-athlete.

Further, if a student-athlete is deemed ineligible the compliance department is immediately notified with alerts from the Compliance Toolbox. Further, this tool features comprehensive reporting that allows a department to track eligibility even further. JumpForward’s standard eligibility reports include squad lists, general eligibility, continuing eligibility, initial eligibility, transfer eligibility, and progress toward degree.

Playing & Practice Seasons

Modeled after a major NCAA infractions case around practice monitoring, JumpForward has created a two-side practice log solution that will not only allow the coaches to submit their countable hours (practice logs), but also allows compliance to monitor those activities in real-time. Coaches submit their activities to an interactive calendar that calculates all of the hours and proactively warns them of violations. The Compliance Toolbox provides the compliance office the ability to monitor all of the submitted activities and can submit them electronically to the student-athletes for their review and approval, as well as maintain archived documentation of all activities and approvals.

Standard & Ad-Hoc Reporting

The JumpForward Compliance Toolbox, comes fully stocked with several standard compliance reports, such as: Squad Lists, Eligibility Reports, Roster Reports, CARA Reports, Form Reports, Complimentary Ticket Reports, Audit Trail Reports, Contact/Evaluation Reports, Phone Call/Text Message Reports, Progress-Toward-Degree Reports, General, Initial, Transfer, and Affirmation of Eligibility Reports, and many more. There are over 30 standard reports available on JumpForward.

In addition to the standard reports that are available, JumpForward has created an Ad-Hoc reporting system that is easy to use and extremely comprehensive. The step-by-step process of creating an Ad-Hoc report allows the compliance office flexibility in their reported information and the confidence to know and create the reports on-demand.

Customized Forms

At the beginning of the year, every compliance department must go through the forms process with all of their student-athletes. JumpForward has created a feature through the Compliance Toolbox that allows the compliance office to send all of those forms to the student-athletes electronically for them to review, fill out, sign, and submit back to the compliance office. No paper is needed for the entire process! There are over 250 forms available, which includes all of the NCAA forms and any other institution- or conference-specific forms that are necessary.

Example Forms: Student-Athlete Statement, HIPPA, Athletic Eligibility Verification, Student-Athlete Host Statement, National Letter of Intent, Drug Testing Consent, and many more.

Financial Aid

JumpForward allows for a compliance department to track all financial aid sources and properly allocate them to student-athletes. The compliance department is able to set up financial aid sources and allow them to count against the individual, sport, institution, and athletics as deemed necessary by NCAA rules. JumpForward also allows a compliance department to allocate cost of attendance, full grant-in-aid, award periods, pell grants, institutional aid, and outside aid to each individual student-athlete. The compliance department can track and designate exceptions for various financial aid as well. This information can also be electronically entered directly into the student-athlete data via a transfer from the institution’s database system.

Finally, the JumpForward system features a financial aid calculator for each student-athlete that tracks total aid, institutional aid, individual aid, athletic aid, equivalency aid, equivalency values, and sport counter totals. This allows for the compliance department to track and analyze all financial aid funds associated with a student-athlete. JumpForward also allows a compliance department to create and monitor all financial aid sources through its standard financial aid reports that track aid sources, institutional aid, outside aid, and pell grant dollars.

The JumpForward system is able to integrate with campus information systems (ex. Banner, Datatel) in order to ensure that the compliance department is working with the most up to date academic/financial aid information.
